Hi,

The ports is the issue then.  419 is fine-that should read open.

But the other ports should not read "stealth", they should read "closed", 
especially 422.  If you can get port 422 to say "closed" and not "stealth" you 
should be good to go.

Here's hoping someone out there can answer this question.  We just installed
a new Windows 2003 server that hosts the Ariel documents for patron delivery
via the web.  They are, of course ftp'ed to the Windows server from our
Ariel computer.  If we take off the server's firewall, then Ariel can post
documents to the Windows 2003 server.  With the firewall on, we cannot post
files - we get an ftp failed message in the Ariel log.  Does anyone know
what port/ports need to be open on the Windows 2003 server in order to
receive an ftp from the ariel user on the Ariel computer?
