Hi Barb, We've had success with the Fujitsu fi-6230. We use it with our dedicated Ariel machine as well as with ILLiad. We don't have Windows 7 here yet, but there is a Windows 7 driver for this scanner on the Fujitsu website, so it should work for you. Btw, we also use the fi-5000n networking component so people at different workstations can send the documents to their own computers to then process through ILLiad. This isn't necessary, of course, if you have a dedicated ILLiad workstation or if you just want to use a usb drive to transport the files instead - just thought I'd throw it out there. Good luck!
