Emory University Libraries' switch to the ExLibris Aleph ILS is complete and
the @libcat1.cc.emory.edu email domain name is no more.

HOWEVER:

* We are still working some kinks out re: Aleph configurations and, at
least for now, our Main Library (EMU) has gone to non-supplier status on OCLC
because we've got more requests than we can deal with (especially because it's
also Fall Break here and we're short on student assistants). We hope we'll be
able to return to supplier status in the next day or so.

* We are unable to view incoming messages sent to our new
@mail.library.emory.edu domain. We don't yet know what the problem is and/or
whether mail is being received & held on the server or not. So, for right now,
if you need to communicate with Emory ILL offices by email, please use a staff
member's email address (see the OCLC Policies Directory &/or Docline
Institution Info). We'll let you know when our "office addresses" are working
again.

* Finally, though we are able to SEND email from the new mail server,
the FROM address is displaying a domain of @euclidprod1.cc.emory.edu instead of
@mail.library.emory.edu. We apologize for any confusion that this may cause
and hope all of our email problems will be resolved soon.

Again, we hope to be fully back in action soon! Thanks for your patience! Hasta
luego.... -- Margaret

Subject: ILS & E-MAIL CHANGES AT EMORY UNIV, 10/10/11
Importance: High

Please pardon any duplication....

The Emory University Libraries (OCLC: EMU, EMT, EMO, EMM, and EMK; Docline:
GAUEMU) are migrating to a new ILS (ExLibris Aleph) on Monday, October 10th.
Our ILS will be taken offline and our hosted Aleph server will be brought
online around 10:00 a.m. If all goes as planned, there will be only a brief
disruption of library services, including ILL. However, if we experience
serious technical difficulties, some or all of our libraries may go to
non-supplier status on short notice. In that event, rest assured that we'll
make every effort to resume normal ILL operations as quickly as possible.

Perhaps more importantly, once our new Aleph server goes "live," the domain
name for ALL Emory Libraries email addresses ending in @libcat1.cc.emory.edu
will change to @mail.library.emory.edu. Again, we expect this to happen Monday
around 10:00 a.m. EDT.

We will send announcements to these same discussion lists following the switch
to our new Aleph server. Once the switch has been confirmed, please change
Emory Libraries' ILL office email addresses in your records/systems as follows:
