Hi folks,

Is ARIN the right place for an RPKI registry? They seem... reluctant.
It's not just the data for relying parties; they won't publish RPKI
information for the legacy registrants without those registrants first
entering contractual relationships unrelated to RPKI.

Classically ARIN has had a minimalist role in routing policy
decisions. This has been considered a good thing. Fundamentally, RPKI
is routing policy. Maybe another organization should be created to
manage RPKI in North America, one which doesn't suffer ARIN's mindset.
