Hi Henrik,

Thanks for your quick reply. Here are the files in the directory

GenomeWideSNP_6.chrXprobes
GenomeWideSNP_6.chrYprobes
GenomeWideSNP_6,Full.cdf
GenomeWideSNP_6,Full,monocell.CDF
GenomeWideSNP_6,Full,na24,HB20080214.ufl
GenomeWideSNP_6,Full,na24,HB20080214.ugp
GenomeWideSNP_6.specialSNPs

Starting a fresh R session with just aroma.affymetrix gave the same
error message :(

When reporting problems on aroma.affymetrix, make sure 1) to run the latest
version of the package, 2) to report the output of sessionInfo() and
traceback(), and 3) to post a complete code example.
