Guys lets end this here man...i think this topic has been talked so much tat it has to end here...see when u ppl r itself able to make up some kind of a similarity between these 2 songs(thought they dont sound similar except for tat first two line)do u think d director,d producer and above all our boss who knows so much in music,r sitting der simply to recycle old stuff and give it to us...when v ourself analyse so much in His music wont he do it...may b der r certain ppl who deliberately copy things but i dont think ppl like arr, illayaraja all do things wantedly..dey may b just inspired by it thats all and der is no necessity of copying some stuff for dey have der own talents and dey have proved it en number of times....so plssss y all these things...lelts coool down..it was just a mere co incidence...pls ppl v all r arr fans lets not dispute among ourselves for lil things like this...i dint intend to hurt anyone..if i had am sorry..take care..
with regards,
Aarthi

Hey ARRFANZ....stop using the word DISAPPOINTED.... if u r a true fan of ARR then by the end of this discussion u shld hav understood tht the only similarity between those two songs were RAAGA n nothin else...Also it may be jus a coincident, i can give u thosand's of songs like that for example...so this not mean COPY... If u stil cant understand this simple thing then u can urself ask a music expert abt it....bye....Aravinth.MChennai.

Mohamed Yaseer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:Hi everyone...Hope this will clear the doubt that A.R Rahman didn't copy MSV's adi ennadi raakkamma..I have written the musical notes for both songs and attached it with this mail...You will realize that the notes are different but the arrangement are almost the same...I also have attached the midi of both songs which was claimed to be similar...Will upload the part of the real song in gmail account soon...Try to listen to it again and again...Note each and every part of...You guys will be fascinated the difference....Hope this will satisfy everyone...We can come to the conclusion that A.R Rahman didn't copy MSV's songs but both songs appear from the same raaga and A.R Rahman and M.S Visvanathan are great composers....Have a wonderful day...

illayaraja ,yuvan shankar raja, Harris was copying a whole song, but noone wasComplaining them. if rahman copies single line everyone was telling rahman copies.
mohamed mahees <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:hi and hi again....i agree with my_arr....it has been happening a lot of late...not only accusations against arr, but also the degrading of other MDs in this group..d best way is to appreciate the good, and discard the bad...it is not at all encouraging to accuse MDs of copyin, and it is not fair to condemn them if several notes sound similar as like my_arr said, sa re ga ma pa da ni, thats all we have...mahees
my_arr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:Some people tend to get over exited and straight away saying that
A.R Rahman copies just because the songs sound similar...Well we
can't say if any other music directors use sa re ga ma pa da ni
because that's all we have...It's a rotation of these seven keys...
Giving a comment is highly appreciated and a healthy thing
actually...I never say that arrfanz has no rights to post and proof
his point, but just think before using the word copy because it can
be highly offencing...Make sure you know the diffrence
between 'copy', 'inspire', 'uplifted' and 'appear from the same
raaga'...Am not trying to compare whether you have learnt sangeetham
or not but please don't come up with funny new terms...Sangeetham is
the very basic indian classical music and also the soul of the music
itself...Please don't kill it...
I am talking generally...No offence to anyone...
Have a nice day and enjoy your weekend...

Actually we are soooo used to listening to ARR songs that we have
such doubts while listening to others' music.
