This has turned out to be one of the longest threads in recent memory. It all comes down to personal opinions, but I look at it this way.. Would you rather had Rahman not make any music for 'Parasuram' or 'Mangal Pandey' or 'Dil Se' or '<substitute any album here>'?
I cherish Parasuram and Mangal Pandey, but since people have picked on these... let's see... would you have rather not have Main Vari Vari, Rasiya, Muppatha Nimidham, Mangal Mangal, Kathakali, Holi Re, Kadhal Vettukilli? I don't know about you but if I were to lose these two albums, God forbid, or any ARR album for that matter, I would be desperate to find and buy these albums as soon as possible.
