Hello guys,
I don't understand why most of you are so dissapointed by the two reued tunes
in Sakarakkatti. Firstly, the album is released for tamil audience not
particularly to any individual only. I believe most of tamil audience have
never heard either chinama or yeh rista songs before. And I'm sure he would
never mix the song as same as released in Meenaxi. It would be different and
purely for Tamil listeners. I promise you guys, he will never dissapoint his
fans. Apart from it, directors wish may be to extract the tunes from Meenaxi.
And Rahman can't help it. He has admit this on the latest "cut on the above"
interview.Baba song was used in Swades was not Rahman's wish it was Ashutosh's.
He called Rajini sir and ask for permission. And Rahman made it even better
than the original version. Guys its always better reusing his own tunes than
copying someone else. So grow up people, don't make any conclusion before
listening to the songs. And if you are still
dissapointed, then don't ever hear to the songs. I bet you don't!. You will
sure buy it or download it.

Expecting grt music from the man is not wrong!! Expecting him to
kindly answer your questions is wrong!!

Well, Im answering this the way I want to not really caring who gets
hurt and who does not! This is getting beyond tolerance..consider ing
ARR peeps in here once in a while, this is not going anywhere close
to good!

Firstly, Allow him to do what he feels right and then lets decide on
what should have been done otherwise..let' s trust him enough to give
him his creative freedom-has he ever disappointed anyone one of us
from Roja?? Till ADA? He has NOT!! Then, lets leave it to him to
come back to us with the best..

Secondly, he will re use a tune if he feels he can do justice to
it..not make it sound repetitive and also satisfy the criteria of
the movie..if all this is true..then why debate?!

Thirdly, Meenaxi was a grt album but did not hit the top due to
other reasons. This meant a loss to the people who did not hear the
tracks..my family has not heard meenaxi infact..now this gives them
a chance to hear the forgotten tracks through this movie, hopefully..
Like Vithur said, to many many Tamilians this will be a new and
fresh experience (actually, to those who've heard em also!) so they
get to enjoy this so much..they will be really looking forward to
the album and will recieve it with so much joy..

Fourthly, arrahmanfans. com is turning out to be a selfish group (A
few members, I'll say and im sorry!) If ARR is re using a tune, so
what?! Does it only have to be to benefit us?! Like he said in the
interview on Good times, the director could have demanded it!? Does
it always have to be you and me!? Lastly, if ARR feels happy abt
something, we better join him..when we say we love him..we better
love him...

We accuse him of copying..and now abuse him for re using his own
tunes..an honest suggestion.. start a new site arrahmancritics. com
and continue there..

If you really want healthy convo's here ill give you topics..
>From Roja to ADA...From Roja to Sivaji..From the Malaysia concert to
the TOI concert in Chennai..From Allwyn trendy wathces to
Worldspace.. From Rashid Ali to Benny..From the piano to the
continuum and what not?!?!?!?!! ?

Sorry for being harsh...
