Why Rahman saab, why? I am really liking Yuvvraaj for many reasons,
but why did you have to put in a clunker of a song in Sano Sano and
that too its remix? This is all Subhash Ghai's doing! I know that
many of you will come to this song's defense, saying it's hip, it's
hop, it's fast, it's rhythmic. Whatever. To me, it lacks a lot. The
only reason that Sano Sano is in this album is to appeal to a certain
segment of the masses that like this kind of music. It's a song just
to please. It stands out like such a sore thumb compared to the rest
of this very classy and non conventional bollywood soundtrack. Who
knows, this song may become popular, but will be forgotten just as
quick down the road. I'm serious when I say that I can't listen to
these two tracks completely without skipping to another song! I like
Pappu MUCH MUCH better than this one and even Baazi Laga from Guru is
better than this! I was so afraid there would be a song like this in
this album and my worst fear came true!

That being said, the rest of the songs are REALLY GROWING on me fast
and if Sano and its hideous remix sister were removed, this album
would be a classic. Oh well, 7/9 is not bad. I really admire
Rahman's work in this album given some of the weaknesses I had
mentioned earlier. His genius does shine in this album, but it
doesn't grab me emotionally like JA did. One I think I did like is
that the sound is pretty clean and not muddied outside of the Sano
tracks. Even with the hip hop techno beats, they are fairly clean
minus the noise factor. Arrangements are just mindblowing.
