For its Indian release, *Slumdog Millionaire* has been dubbed in Hindi, and re-titled *Slumdog Millionaire: Kaun Banega Karorepati*. The film tells the story of a boy from the Mumbai slums, whose adventures take him from begging on the streets to the popular gameshow *Who Wants to be a Millionaire?* where he surprises everyone with his knowledge. The film has won people's choice award at the Toronto film festival and was given a rousing applause at the London [Images<http://search.rediff.com/imgsrch/default.php?MT=london> ] Film Festival. It is a strong contender for the Oscars.
