Thats true..and for that matter..even SDM would not be considered as Indian Entry...because it was not produced by any production house in India. Regarding ARR being the first composer...it is false...because Pt.Ravi Shankar was once nominated (for Gandhi) and if i am not wrong, another classical musician (could be Ustad Ali Akbar Khan or Ustad Vilayat Khan) was also nominated for some film made in 60s. I am not sure though.
