Rotten Tomatoes is a critics based site. Their review doesn't affect the box office performance. Take Transformers 2 for example. Only managed to score 19% there but is a huge hit. Do not bother looking at Rotten Tomatoes if you want to watch a movie just to enjoy it... Wait for IMDB's user review....
