I agree with HARI's points. Even if Rahman is not directly involved in the event organisation, being a person on whose name the entire event is staged, he should be made aware of the feedback of the audience / fans. And if the situation is beyond his control, I guess, he should not continue with the present setup and go solo.
To be honest, the audience / fans come to listen / see ARR and ARR alone..... atleast that's what I and my family did in the Pune concert. If Rahman decides to do simple 1-2 hour impromptu unplugged sessions with chosen few artists and a simple orchestra, no fireworks, no dancing puppets and songs which he and he alone wants to perform, I think that programme will be a stupendous success and will not be a logistical nightmare for any event organiser. And who can know the true worth of GURUJI than his own disciples, the rahmaniacs ? So if Rahman starts a new trend of organising shows with local band or artists / musicians from his fan group, I would wholeheartedly support such a venture. This group has huge talent pool of musicians / singers / sound engineers / remix specialists amongst us, why do we require outsiders ?
