Ah the joys of user requests...   When our support team gets a request like this the first thing we always have them do is to request a screen shot from the user (Alt-PrintScreen will capture the active window as a picture into the Windows clipboard so it can be pasted into a Word Document or directly into an email).

About 1/3 of the time we find out that the "Queue" the user is talking about is nothing more than a user-written macro query and they didn't put things like ('Status' < "Closed") into their search parameters.

I am pasting the request directly if it help,  "MD has designated routes that the tech run each month and it doesn't match up with what is produced in Remedy, causing the queue to be overfull.  What I need is to have all the PM's cleaned out..."  MD is one of the states we support but I my self doesn't know which specific form he is talking about. I wish I can give you more details.

I deeply appreciate your effort and even general idea about the "queue" might lead me to something.

OK, start by telling us the name of the form or screen you're looking at, and try to describe the records you're wanting to deal with.

Rick,

As I am new to Remedy as well as the job I am clueless about queue.  What I am trying to get is a starting point about it.  Any info about queue, if there are different kind of queue etc.. that gives me an idea will help me to be specific and to narrow down my question.

What queue are you talking about?  Please be more specific, using Remedy terms where you can.

Hi arslist,

I am requested to clean up the queue in some conditions.  Is this possible to view the queue and manage it, such as cleaning etc?  If it is how and where can I access the queue and manage  it.  I don't seem to find any info about it.

I need your help or ideas pleaseeeeeee!
