Candance, I think this is the same story. The same user now has a problem in another application - the mouse simply stops responding! I'm sending the computer off to the lab! Thanks very much, Sharon IL Helpdesk

I did have a similar experience recently. After almost shooting myself in the head to stop the pain, I got our Desktop support people looking into the situation. Turns out that this was never a Remedy issue, but something wrong with the original image installation on the one users workstation. Everyone swore it was a Remedy problem, but I could prove it wasn't because my user and other users set up the same, could perform great on any other machine, just not on this one machine. It drove us nuts for almost a month, but once they built out a new workstation for her from the ground up very carefully, it resolved her problem. Don't know if this helps, but it's what I was screaming about for a very long time. In this case, it was search menus, not tables, but I'd recommend looking into it. The user's environment was Win XP SP2 also, but ARS 6.3 - Win 2003 SQL 2000 SP 4. Pretty close. HTH :-) Candace ________________________________ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Menachem, Sharon Sent: Thursday, November 30, 2006 9:58 PM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: 1 Remedy User - Unable to Select in Table ARS 5.1.2 patch 1484 on Win2003 with SQL 2000 SP3 I have 1 computer where no matter who is logged into Remedy (including administrator), no matter what version of the User tool I install, after a little while we are unable to select rows in a table. No one else has this problem. No workflow has been changed. The same user logged in on another computer has no problems with the same applications and user tool. I have completely deleted all installations of Remedy on the computer, both user and admin as well as deleted all directories. I have reinstalled various versions all to no avail. Any suggestions would be really helpful. (By the way the computer is running Win XP SP2) Thanks, Sharon IL Helpdesk ************************************************************************ *********** This email message and any attachments thereto are intended only for use by the addressee(s) named above, and may contain legally privileged and/or confidential information.
