Well, you must have been born under a lucky star.

If that had been me, I would have been instructed to turn on all my logs
and send them in, then be ignored for a couple days, maybe get back a
couple vague and/or cryptic emails, ignored a bit more, and assigned
over to licensing.

By which time I'd have figured the issue out on my own or by emailing
this list.

Subject: OT-Funny WorkFlow Issue

Ok, so I have moved from my lovely bug free and VERY customized Helpdesk
4.03 to the new and very different Helpdesk 6.0

I very carefully moved my customizations over, fields Als, Filters etc.

Noticed that the "ListMyGroups Open Cases" and "ListMyOpen Cases"
buttons were not on the toolbar the way they used to be.

I found the Active links in my install and added menu bar items and
buttons etc... The workflow didn't work.

Contacted Technical Support (got someone who REALLY knows her stuff) and
she told me that the workflow wasn't part of Helpdesk 6.0

I sent her back the active links from my install and she sent me back
the following:

"The functionality you're looking at was removed from the application,
however engineering missed removing the active links."

Unbelievable... Remedy took away some really great functionality!

She sent me back the Active Links fixed so I can re-install them and my
users will be happy again!

Gotta love the Technical Support people who KNOW their systems!

Claire
