If you have seen the demo of the Innovation Suite and compare it to the Workflow capability and JavaScript that SN uses Remedy can compete directly with SN for development. The SN ITSM applications are still not as mature as the BMC ITSM applications, especially Problem and Change. The SN CMDB is a normalized data structure that Remedy 9.X is closer to.
The problem is BMC it to late to the rodeo and SN has to large of a footprint. I have worked with SN developers for that last 3 years. -----Original Message----- From: Joe D'Souza <jdso...@shyle.net> To: arslist <arslist@ARSLIST.ORG> Sent: Wed, Aug 16, 2017 4:27 pm Subject: Re: ARS Wikipedia page ** Having learnt some development in the SNOWplatform, I agree, that the ARS has much more richer development and moreimportantly customization capabilities when compared to SNOW. The downslide canmostly therefore be attributed to BMC not acknowledging the power in its ownhands with a development tool like the ARS and focusing only on its ITSMofferings. I wish I could say it is never too late to turn around but it justmay be too late to do that now having lost as much of its customers to SNOW asit already has.. Greatest mistake theyever made (IMHO). BMC has turned Remedy ITSM into bloat ware. Oneof the many reasons so many organizations are making the jump to SNow. I still say ARSystem is the superior platform.
