You can always use arcache to re-cache your groups. How ever is sound
like you may have larger issue.

I tried another new group yesterday and it also did not work. I just
checked group_cache through SQL and the new groups are NOT cached. Any
suggestions or thoughts? Is there a way to force the server to re-cache
the group information?
