Hi Roney,
Yes we do have multi-tenancy turned on. I could do as you mention but I was under impression that since both users have fixed license with admin and unrestricted access and they also have Incident Master access so for a given company they should definitely be able to see ALL incidents for that company regardless of support-group. :S Thank you, Neel Gautam Accenture - Chicago Delivery Centre Office: 312-693-7279 Mobile: 630-440-6335 MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] AIM: neelgautam Core Values: Stewardship * Best People * Client Value Creation * One Global Network * Respect for the Individual * Integrity ________________________________ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Roney Samuel Varghese Sent: Friday, May 25, 2007 12:54 AM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Re: search fucntion is working weirdly in thick client ** Dear Neel, Do you have multi tenancy turned on. Do both of the users belong to separate support groups? You could try removing unrestricted access and having both the users list their own companies for restricted access and try the search again. Hope this helps Regards Roney Samuel Varghese ________________________________ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Neel Guatam Sent: Thursday, May 24, 2007 3:08 PM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: search fucntion is working weirdly in thick client Importance: High Okay, This is causing a bit of panic now. I have a fixed user license in our production environment and I have administrator and unrestricted access. Another user also has a fixed license in production with same admin and unrestricted access. We both Incident form in search mode and search for incidents using the exact same query (not even in advance query mode, simple search based on some drop-downs) and we both see incorrect results. After numerous searchs and observations, I found out that I was missing out a certain set of incident records on my search: (Support Company* = Owner Support Company) AND (Support Organization* = Owner Support Organization) AND (Assignee Group*+ = Owner Group+) Any guesses? Is this configuration thing? All the real production users are getting inconsistent search results and it's a HUGE issue. Any help would be highly appreciated.
