I am looking for documentation on the .Def format...to be able to decode it similar to what Misi has in this utility.
I searched the list and the pdfs (v7.x). Is this info posted somewhere? This tool runs on def-files and produce a list of all the fields in the file. It does not connect to the server or the network. The result is a semicolon separated text file that you can open in Excel. The listed information includes information about Form, Id, Name, Label, Type, Option, Length, Enum-values, Default, Pattern and Menu of each field. https://www.rrr.se/cgi/tools/main#rrrDefFieldList Best Regards - Misi, RRR AB, http://www.rrr.se > As we all know each field in a form has at least three names, one the > user sees (user-facing), the name we see in the admin tool and the > name stored in the database. > > I have a manager who wants a csv file listing all the fields on a form > showing the user-facing name alongside the admin-tool name.
