Odd. Looks like there was an email stuck in the outbox of the mailbox we're
using. Apparently that was causing the emails to queue up in the email
messages form? We sent it and everything seems to have returned to normal.

I ran into a similar issue and the resolution in my case was to upgrade the
Outlook client to the 2007 version. Additionally, you need to ensure the
outlook client is not running in cached mode.

Thanks,

Dear listers,

We're having some problems today with emails backing up in the
email messages form. Occasionally we'll lose connectivity to the exchange
server and the emails start backing up. In that case, we generally restart the
email engine service once connectivity is restored and the emails start to
flow. We haven't made any configuration changes on our end today, but for some
reason, emails are backing up. We've restarted the service several times and
the emails will go out, but they start backing up again shortly afterward.

I checked the stderr and stdout logs to no avail. However, the AR
System Error Logs form is packed with entries. I have thousands of entries
with a message text of "The system cannot find the file specified." and several
with the text "The specified procedure could not be found." I've never run into
anything like this. Like I said, normally we just restart the service and
everything seems to work itself out. Anyone seen anything like this that could
assist?

Win Server 2003 R2

SQL 2K

ARS 5.1.2

Thanks much,
