Thanks Carey. I saw where there was a form called "Filter Script Library" that stored the scripts. In the article I was reading, http://www.remedy.com/customers/dht/archive/06-01-2004_D.htm It stated that you could go to the developer website and download the file. I go there, and I can see the old site for just a second, then it redirects me to the new BMCDN and for the life of me, I cannot find the java filter plugin file to download.
Has anyone had any luck finding these files out on the BMCDN? I think the sample stuff only allowed for 5 inputs and 5 outputs, but extending that was easy. A real "down side" to the beanshell approach is that the "errors" are not very helpful. ( A simple syntax error looks like a compile time error, because that is where/when it is found. And the error is something like... "unable to parse". Not very helpful.) With the v7.1 Java plugins at least they should be build able with an IDE to help with such things. (But I have not yet found the time to put together a better test env for the beanshell stuff. (Mostly because I kept hearing about a better Java API and a "Java plugin server"...
