Embedded pointers are anywhere theres a literal being used. This can
occur in many different actions. The editor should see these within a
action line. Just rename the old to the new, but make sure you test them
to make sure it takes.

Yes, what you describe is correct.

The .def file is a big text file. To rename project names, just do a
replace within a text editor and save.

Make a backup before you do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Embedded pointers may take some manual intervention, but the editor
should help with this.

On import, import the new .def and delete the old through the Admin
Tool. I would do this on a test server first and proceed from there into
production.

**
Good morning listers,

The name of our project changed and I need that change to reflect in
our form names, menu titles, etc. I'm lazy and I don't feel like
renaming everything manually. Can I export the .DEF file, search and
replace, reimport and I'm good to go?

Thanks,

Michael
