We do it with a straight simple Escalation that runs each day at 1 AM 

Run If:   
  ( 'Create Date' < ($TIMESTAMP$ - (4 * 86400))) AND ( 'Message Type' =
"Incoming")   
Run Process Action:   
  Application-Delete-Entry "$SCHEMA$"  $Email ID$
