I've had that problem tons...the 'fix' is to add the mid-tier server into the trusted list...this will cause it to not display the 'are you sure' title bar, and just open the attachment

He accepted and instead of downloading the attachment he was instead taken to a search mode on the task form. I tried it myself and got the same result. I then tried it in FF3 and had no problem downloading the attachment. Besides, it was much, much faster. As far as I know (I've not been here too long) it's all OOTB ITSM 7.0, but I have not looked too much into it yet. Unfortunately this customer was on an imaged laptop, so he couldn't install FF. I emailed him the attachment, but this could become a big problem. Anyway, +1 for FF3 and Remedy. Now I only it worked with Opera. He is running ITSM 6 on 7.1 ars and mid-tier at patch level 01. I tested on FireFox 3.0 on ars7.1 and 7.0.1 both with ITSM 7.0.03 and no issues playing around with home page, creating incidents, Flashboards, etc. However, I just tried it on my ars6.3 vm with ITSM6 and had issues with menus not displaying and also not being able to select tabs. I'm assuming it's an issue with the applications/workflow that itsm6 was built on. Then I went into the form, moved a few fields around. Then I manually flushed the cache. Now everything looks as it should. The Flashboards stay where they belong and the Application List works.
