Gullermo, It seems you may not have been introduced to ARSperl yet, which is a lifesaver for us perl coders tasked with Remedy development. You can get it here: http://www.arsperl.org/ The installation has an examples directory so you can get familiar with the syntax. This would be a necessary part of the perl wrapper that LJ suggested.
