Or have the database trigger a call to an API program or web service to
inform Remedy that the record is there

YHK,

This will not work. Remedy does not recognize an insert into an external
table. You must use an escalation.

Thanks,

Subject: View Form to external table filter question

Hello Listers!

Wondering if you have a view form to an external table that has a filter
that fires on submit... Will the filter fire if a record is created in
that table in the external database? Trying to avoid creating an
escalation if I can avoid it. Thank you in advance!
