Login into the mid tier configuration console and you get to add the server name, choose the preference server, home page etc.. Looks like somehow you had lost all this.

ARS 6.3, ITSM 6.0, MS SQL 2000, most use IE to access the ITSM parts. The Remedy parts are installed on the E: drive. Saturday, the C: and E: drives were full. Sunday, Windows admins cleared the drive of files they assumed were Windows-only. Now the web access delivers the following error upon login attempts: ARERR 9341: No Preference Servers or Configuration Home Page Server. Home Page needs a server. Logging in with the WUT produces: ARERR [623] Authentication failed user: user-name, server: server.name Cannot login to server.name as a preference server. user: user-name, server: server.name Unable to successfully log in to any server. But the user "user-name" gets in! I assume some config files were deleted Sunday. Can someone tell me what they should be? Or would it be a good idea to reload the 6.3 web parts? Thanks. -- Bob Rowe, Remedy Action Request System Development and Administration robert.w.r...@gmail.com "The golden rule is to test everything in the light of reason and experience, no matter from where it comes."
