In reference to Defect SW00257321 that I have had more than one experience with (User Tool 7.0.1 patch 2 corrupts MS Office), the discussion here and the technical bulletin all referred to the Uninstall creating the corruption. Is there a corruption issue that occurs under non-uninstall conditions? Because a colleague here said that there have been two incidents of corruption of MS-Office when the default Home directory was selected which triggered a corruption of MS-Office without having uninstalled anything.
BMC's Knowledge Base is singularly unhelpful, KM-1007962 simply says if your User Tool installation corrupts your MS Office, then reimage the PC.
