Hi Fred,

I've done some tests and I've figured out that this solution doesn't work in midtier. The set field of the attachment field doesn't happens, so the solution is not appropriate for us.

Anyway, thanks and regards.

Anyone else?

Roger

Print is easy ... Have the user Right click in the View Field and choose print

I'm not sure about save right now... You could possibly do a Set Fields of the View Field to a Display/Only Attachment field and then use the PERFORM-ACTION-SAVE-ATTACHMENT Run Process action to initiate a save to the user's machine.

Subject: Export to html/text file

Hi listers,

I have a char field that its content is a html code. I am showing this content as a page in a view field to the user, but the user would like to have the option of saving this "report" in a file (html) and/or printing this "report". This workflow has to work in midtier also, so OLE is not an option.

Any ideas?

Thanks and regards,

Roger
