The tray on the bottom has all the icons of minimized and closed panes.. You can use that to restore and once you restore you use the docking option to position to left right top or bottom. There is also a docking option for fast view which I normally do not use.. A few navigation difficulties with using the Fast view that I have had in terms of how I would like the screen to look like..
A good point about screen monitor resolution by Roger Justice.. I used one with a low resolution (same as Roger) too and its hardly possible to work with that.. I now use a 1950 x 1080 which I think is the minimum resolution size that works well.. If you can afford a higher resolution, even better (I noticed that with 1950x1250 laptops its awesome). Make sure that the font size and icon size and all that good stuff is set to small.. If you are using Windows 7, they have changed the look and feel of the display configuration and you no longer can see the dpi settings. Its something else - I don't recall what it is offhand but in an effort to make it more user friendly in my honest opinion MS has made it more confusing for advanced users as we need to relearn all the new settings interfaces.. But I guess that's a discussion for another thread that might read something like Microsoft sucks.. I can’t never seem to find it via menus, etc. I was working on a Form and I minimized that view and now I can’t find it. It does not appear anywhere. You can organize your panes in the developer studio to the way you best would like to view it, and have things like the Navigation pane on your left, the Outline and Properties panes on your right, and the system messages, etc on the bottom and use the center space of the studio to view your objects.. That's how I do it and it works really great. The arrangement is saved on exit of the tool so next time you log in you have the same view.. Is there an equivalent feature in Developer Studio? I’m having a hard time finding fields without it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
