Hi Enslin

The way to do this is to create an active link that opens the display-only
form as a dialog, then put that active link in an active link guide, and set
the active link guide as an entry point.

Subject: Dialog View Type

Hi Everyone

Is it possible to open a Display-Only Form in a Dialog Window Type view from
the standard Home Page?

We are using ARS 7.1

Once the employee click on the link from the homepage, a small pop-up window
must appear and depending on the button selected a active link will then
open the relevant form using window open action etc. I want this to work in
the user tool and the web.

I did create a Display-Only Form with two buttons and three fields,
positioned it all top left corner.

In Form properties I enabled the Entry-Point

Now this will just open the windows in a big/normal screen and not the
dialog pop-up view.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards

Enslin
