You can also use IMAP with Exchange. As long as the Exchange server is setup for SSL and TLS it will work with Remedy.

Typically this involves using SSL so the transaction is encrypted (POP3 is very insecure without it). MS Exchange accounts can be set to allow for POP3 access. The MAPI implementation requires a JNI library to call MAPI functions that is provided as a dll (eg armapi71.dll).
