Hi,

1. Install a new 7.6.04
2. Create Overlays in Best Practice Development Mode on the system forms
you need to change, and manually apply changes from your old system (new
fields, changed permissions, etc)
3. Export your old definitions, except the system forms (User/AR*/Group etc)
4. Use rrrDefHideExpandBox on the def to preserve the layouts from your
6.* system.
4. Use rrrDefBPCU to convert your old def-file into a Custom def file
5. Import the resulting def into the new server
6. Use rrrChive to synchronize all data from your old system to the new
7. Test your new system extensively and adapt as appropriate. Nothing much
should need fixing.
8. Do a final rrrChive SYNCTOTARGET-run before you switch production servers

Compare your ar.conf file using rrrConfDiff, and possibly add the
following lines:
Next-ID-Commit:F
Next-ID-Block-Size:1
