Yup it won’t be as simple as changing login names.. Even if it is not OTB
groups if you have customization workflow based on customized groups, it would
still present that same problem..

Exporting def files in xml format and looking for those group names and
replacing them should work but it will be a really long process..

What is the need to do that? Maybe there is an alternative you could look at
like maybe an alias or something?

**
If you need to change OOTB Group names (i.e Incident Master, Incident Submitter
and so on) please try to reconsider it. There are several workflow objects
(Active Links, Filters) built based on Run If qualifications that use Group
Name.

In case of Custom Group names there should be no problems unless there could be
some custom workflow who uses Group Name field values for your custom groups.

You can use ARSmarts tool for searching Run If qualifications in Objects in
order to verify use of Group Name field values.

Asunto: Changing the Group Name

**

Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me if there would be any severe "gotchas" when going into the
Group form and changing the Group Name of one of my groups? I would need to
check for any workflow qualifications that use group names, but would there be
anything else to watch out for?

Thanks for the advice!
