I think this comment hits the nail on the head. At least, it hit ME on the head... There are some admin jobs and other things I can do quickly and easily with the RUT/WUT that is just too darned hard on the MT. However, regular users should be on MT to avoid having to deploy patches and upgrades to desktops.
