I am not surprised. Sometimes its kind of ridiculous to see where all those 
consulting dollars are lost.. Mainly to middle men who practically do nothing 
other than spend time online and other networking resources to connect people – 
an exercise which in this day and age can be easily done reducing the cost of 
consulting by removing out the middle men..

I’m just saying – not philosophizing that it’s the best way to go about 
consulting, but it does sound like a more practical way – especially when you 
are talking about very niche market segments such as the industry we are in.. 
We practically know all of our peers.. Do we ‘really’ need that service of 
making those connections by way of vendors?

But then again I guess everyone needs their jobs or what they were used to 
doing..

We have had quotes as high as 3500 per day for a consultant.  Also paid as low 
as 1700.  Believe me, you don’t always get what you pay for… sometimes you get 
much MORE and sometimes much LESS.

  Remedy Developer will serve as one of several technical resources for the 
District's Remedy 7.6.04 implementation project. The candidate will work under

  Experience in BMC Remedy AR System & ITSM suite of applications. Should be

  Perform ITSM application and software database administration and maintenance
