What you mentioned about the import is definitely a concern. If you're going
to try and bring your approval mappings over, you'll need to also bring over
(if possible) the person / support group records.

If you have 80 Approval Mappings, and this is the only environment you're
bringing them into, it might be quicker, easier and more reliable to just
create them. Of course that depends on how complex the mappings are, but by
the time you figure out the method to transfer them and verify they are in
properly it might be better to just take the 30-45 minutes and rebuild them.

Subject: Question on Migrating Approval Mappings?

Friends,

Prod is ars 7.1 itsm 7.1 RHEL 5 Oracle 11g

I have around 80 Approval Mappings in there and I want to bring it onto our
Sandbox env, ARS 77 itsm 77 beta. What is the best approach to bring that over?
Not Sure doing an Import of the data is the right approach(Since it has the
Support id, Person id references etc.,)? anyone who had this experience if you
can share your thoughts would be really helpful.

Thank you
S K
