Wasn’t that limitation only on 7.6.03? I think it was removed on 7.6.04 where you could have a 64-bit java environment all round for all components including email..

It is unwise to wait and update it later, or to allow the auto java update to run once it is installed, since on windows that usually destroys the registry entries that ARS depends on to find the jre.
