We use the ability to route Approvals in CM based on Op and/or Prod Cats, during Review and Implementation Phases. You have multiple options on the Approval Mapping record. Just populate the request to match the approval mapping attributes.
Also, you can have multiple approvals in each phase as well. Just give it a Level 0 thru (n). Ensure you have a Support Group with Func Role of Change Approver as well. Hope this helps some more.
