We got delivered from BMC a 7.6.04 environment, we have AR patched to SP2 but Atrium is un patched and we want o get everything up to SP4.

One advise that will work irrespective of what your architecture and environment is, is that you got to give it a whole lot of more memory and processing power than your previous version. I have other than that not run into anything 'major' that's worth talking about (considering that everyone these days knows you got to prepare your apps if they have been customized, to compare the differences to create an overlay layer).
