That's quite odd for that to happen then. My next suspicion would be the browser, installation of plugins or add ons or user actions that is leading to it.
What kind of a browser are you using? Have you customized the preferences on the browser or installed any special browser plugins or add ons?? IF so I would disable them all and see if this stops happening then enable them one by one in the hope of getting the one that is causing this. What action do you have to perform when that prompt to save the page happens?
