Looking to get some advice if there would be any problem with copying registry entries and directory structure when switching over from 32 bit Win 2003 environment to 64 bit Win 2008. Plan is to use a copy of the existing database, copy over registry and directory strcture to the new appl server and then reinstall just Remedy 7.6.04.
Alternatively, thinking of using a DB copy and doing a fresh install with BMC_LOADAPP_SKIP set so that the applications are not loaded into the DB.
