Hi,
The checking of new version is done only for artifacts that have a SNAPSHOT
revision.
For a release version, there are no invalid cache until delete.
The way to sync a remote repo after a change in a release is to use the API
sync REST query that will verify the validity of all artifacts based on
their lastModified and checksum values.
Hope it helps,
Fred.
