Hi,

As you have noticed the ‘artadmin’ is only documented for Artifactory
version 2.X and is now deprecated.

The choice of managing Artifactory through the UI or through the REST api
is completely up to you based on your preferences.

However, previously you have mentioned that you are going to use a
scripting language in order to communicate with Artifactory and this means
using the REST API. Regarding your cURL question, it can be downloaded from
here <http://curl.haxx.se/download.html> and the documentation/manual is
available here <http://curl.haxx.se/docs/manpage.html>.
