Hey folks --
I've set up Artifactory 4.2.2. I'm trying to get a maven settings file
pulled down, but when it pops up the file, it hasn't replaced the
user/password entries. The snippet I get looks like this:
<server>
<username>${security.getCurrentUsername()}</username>
<password>${security.getEscapedEncryptedPassword()!"*** Insert
encrypted password here ***"}</password>
<id>central</id>
</server>
It seems that the location on the profile to get the escaped, encrypted
password has been removed in 4.2.2 (or sometime before, but it's not there
now). There's nothing in the logs indicating any issue.
This seems like a pretty big issue, but I'm assuming I've configured
something incorrectly. Any pointers on this? Thanks!
