Hi,
We are in the process of migrating Artifactory to another server since the current one houses many other applications and we want to keep a dedicated server for Artifactory. To setup the new server, I was going through the official page for recommended system requirements but no suggestion was present for scenario where # of developers are more than 200+. On contacting support team, i was asked to post my query on this forum as we are using the Open Source version. We have around 2000 developers and would like to know about the following: 1) Recommended h/w and JVM settings 2) We are using derby db from what I can see from the logs. Since we are planning to setup new box, I was wondering whether I should go with the default db and whether it will scale well. Let me put it in a different way: is there a better storage option that we can switch to keeping in mind both performance and scalability? As of now, the data dir size is 167G.
