Forgive me for not quoting you.

Whether you got me or not is debatable. If you did, congratulations.
What I orignally said was "please don't add insult to injury" with
complaints about what the incumbents do or don't so, otherwise they
will be greeted here with "we told you so." I don't know what else
you can expect. I beleive that many on this board revealed serious
shortcomings in the redevelopment plan and the way it was being
handled by both the master developer and the incumbents. Then
someone who supported the incumbents complained about the lights.
Don't complain to me/us, we tried to warn you guys. Tell it to the
incumbents.

I don't even know Fishman, but I do not like him or the way he has
gone about this redevelopment. He has not lived up to the major
provisions of the agreement (I am saying MAJOR just he case he has
abided by something and so you don't catch me again). He has tried
to steal the Triangle. He is throwing people out of their homes and
businesses. He took advantage of either inept or corrupt
officials. "Pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered."

I could go on, but none of Asbury Partners' discretions or failures
will convince you. That being said, I hope Asbury Partners proves me
wrong and I wake up one day and see CH, Casino and pavillions
beautifully restored.

As to blaming tree huggers. I think there are environmentally
friendly exotic woods that could be used and that are not harvested
from rain forests (Werner?). The agreement (have you read any of the
documents?) specifies the 2 x 6 southern pine so who is to blame for
its use, ?

As to Asbury Partners being the developer. Sorry, but you got it
real wrong. They sold the parcels to the subdevelopers
(subdevelopers NOT subcontractors). The permits, approvals, etc.,
are between the city and these subdevelopers. You have to do your
homework.
