Hi Joe-
the start/finish will be on Cookman and Emory.  Basically, the road closures are going to be Cookman and Spring Wood Drive between Bond and Grand.

I'm not sure who exactly at City Hall suggested the move to Cookman Ave after it was decided that the roads near Convention Hall were unsuitable.  But I will be sure to include your name on the long list of people who would like to thank him/her for bringing such a great community event to the town of Asbury Park.  Looking forward to seeing hundreds of people out on the streets of AP Sunday morning supporting the businesses(that morning or in the future) and taking part in the rejuvenation of AP.

Can you tell me what the exact street closures will be and who at City Hall made the decision to allow the move to Cookman Avenue.

Due to road construction the course location has been moved from Convention Hall and now it will be on and around Cookman Ave. If you would like to help out(and you are an early bird), we will be settting up between 5am-7:30am Sunday morning. The first race is at 8am and they will continue on until about noon. We are looking for people to marshall(stand at certain corners and make sure nobody walks or drives onto the race course). The main staging area will be on Cookman and Emory. Please come by and ask for me if you are able to volunteer any of your time.
