One more comment. There are qualified natives of Asbury Park, some with the
same, Black and White, if not equal credentials. Why are Blacks insulted that
they can't do the SAME job better, but won't because of what's happening to Lou
Jordan, Wilbur Russell, etc. Whenever a Black person is chosen for a
administrative job here, they are second guessed to death! I personally think
that the stress Wilbur Russell was under, killed him! My opinion, so don't
question me to death on that! I was a witness to how he was addressed in
Council Chambers, with no respect, whatsoever. That Homeowners report was taken
to the FBI and who was snared first, Terry Weldon, is who. The FBI started
looking into everyone's background and that's how his fraud was uncovered! He's
walking around like King of the Hill, while the Blacks are either going to be
carted off to jail on a trumped up conspiracy, only because a former
councilwoman wore a wire and sold out her people. She is seen as a shill of the
white conspiracy that makes sure any decent Black won't apply for these plum
jobs that whites sit on and think they are entitled to have. It's all about
'entitlement'; they've always had it and will be damned if any one of us can do
the same in a calm, professional manner. I am making a general statement and
NOT putting it on anyone in particular. I see how some councilman speak to
blacks and whites, have no respect for anyone, that questions them, why they
sign onto deals, that virtually gives the city away, while they criticized the
Blacks for thinking that they were doing right by the city, also. They're no
better than the "bad" Black people, they replaced! The Blacks successfully had
a recall, back in 96 throwing Candiano and another off the council, because
they didn't know any better either! What qualifies the sitting council? They're
just as green as the others that sat there and made fools of themselves,
wouldn't address issues and were made to look like they were in someone's
pocket! When no one downtown explains why they are doing something, what are
ordinary citizens like myself, who are not on the inside or sophisticated
enough to realize that this City has been SOLD down the river, to the fattest
cat in town? Answer that! I await the flames!!!!!
